Here's an idea trade Fleury for a 2nd and winger prospect then trade nisk and that 2nd plus to Ana for Gibson. helps both Ana and Pit out

Nashville Predators - Take Shea Weber and Pekka Rinne out of this roster and you have everyone's second line. This is a managerial miscalculation if you've ever seen one. The Preds are craving full rebuild mode, and Weber + Rinne could be turned into five solid good young players.

You seem to be forgetting about Filip Forsberg and Seth Jones, who will be their faces for the future along side Weber and Rinne. They are already in the midst of a rebuild on the fly, Weber and Rinne aren't going anywhere. They could easily make the playoffs with all of the role players they already have under contract in addition to their emerging young stars.

Gibson'll take a lot more than Niskanen and a 2nd

Bogosian's a fine D man. Remember that he's 23. Same age as J Schultz

Well, naturally, Forsberg and Jones would be part of rebuild mode. If you could get three quality young players for Weber (let's say Schenn, Schenn and Couturier) and three quality young players for Rinne (name a team desperate for a goalie with young players to give up), you'd have eight guys towards your full rebuild right there.

There's different types of log jams, my friend. A log jam of 3/4/5/6/7 D men is still a log jam.

5. Edmonton Oilers - Another one of those teams where I don't understand what their management is doing. Tons of power up front, and absolutely zero on defense. This team isn't going anywhere this season.

Nick Schultz (frank)ing sucks. We have 3 d-men competing for that 6th spot, so unless we are getting a top-4 guy, we aren't acquiring a dman.

...so trading the best goalie prospect in the NHL that won't cost more than 1 or 2 million for a few years; and shaving cap space off Pittsburg helps Anaheim how?....oh sh*t,..sorry dude, I just noticed you threw in a 2nd...hey, If you wanna give up a 5th round pick, Getzlaf and Perry might be available.

"Disastrously run franchise" for the Flyers? Really...? That's not even remotely close to a correct adjective....

The team has missed the playoffs twice in 20 years... Far from disastrous. I agree moderately with your assessment of player management, but it's not that bad really... The team consistently makes bold, radical, and risky moves that have almost all paid off in some form. Sorry to say it, but if you wanna see disastrously run franchise, look no further than your beloved Oilers... How long can that team suck with all the talent on the roster? Also, they're probably the worst drafting team of this past decade, they choose the EXACT same type of player in every draft. Oscar Klefbom is your one exception to that rule...

I have no idea what Clouts is thinking on that one. Doesn't watch games or even check rosters
